These terms cover your use of the Little Snitch monitoring portal, the website where you view your site cameras' photos and manage them. The portal is provided by Greenpole Pty Ltd (ABN 69 614 989 427), trading as Little Snitch Time Lapse ("Little Snitch", "we", "us"). They sit alongside the hire agreement between Little Snitch and your company; if the two disagree, the hire agreement wins.
1. Your account
Your account is personal to you. Keep your password private, do not share your sign-in, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what is done under your account. Change a temporary password we give you as soon as you sign in.
2. People you add
Managers can add people from their company, choose whether each is a manager or a member, reset their passwords and remove them. Your company is responsible for who it adds and for removing people who leave. Add only people who are entitled to see the cameras.
3. Share links
A share link lets anyone who holds it view that camera's photos without signing in, until the link expires or you remove it. You decide who receives a link and you are responsible for that choice. Give links only to people who need them, set a sensible expiry, and remove a link if it may have gone further than intended.
4. Camera settings
Managers can change a camera's photo resolution, interval and operating hours from the portal. Changes are sent to the camera by text message and usually take effect within minutes. Taking photos more often, at higher resolution or for more hours uses more battery and data and fills the memory card sooner, which can shorten the time between service visits. Changes are made at your request and we are not responsible for the consequences of the settings you choose. We may adjust settings ourselves to keep a camera working.
5. Video and camera orders
Requesting a video or ordering more cameras through the portal is a request, not a contract, until we confirm it. Video editing is quoted separately. Camera orders are priced and confirmed by email under the hire agreement and its pricing at the time.
6. Photos and privacy
The photos belong to the project and are held for your company. They may incidentally show people on or near your site. Your company is responsible for telling people on site that time lapse photography is in operation, including any workplace surveillance notices the law requires where the site is, and for positioning and signage. We do not use the photos to identify or monitor individuals. Our privacy policy explains what we collect through the portal and how it is kept.
7. Our access
Little Snitch staff can see your cameras, photos and portal settings in order to run the service: checking camera health, fixing problems, editing videos you request and responding to alerts. We keep a record of changes made in the portal, including who made them.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the portal available and the photos up to date, but cameras depend on batteries, mobile coverage and site conditions, and the portal depends on third-party hosting. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular photo frequency, or that every photo taken will be uploaded. If the portal is unavailable, the cameras keep taking photos on their memory cards where possible.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access cameras or accounts that are not yours, probe or overload the portal, or use the photos for anything unlawful. Do not upload, request or send anything abusive, deceptive or harmful.
10. Suspending or ending access
We may suspend an account or a share link if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken or the service is at risk. Portal access ends when the project or hire ends, after which photos are kept and then deleted according to our privacy policy, unless you have asked for a copy or a video in time.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Beyond those, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from the portal is limited to re-supplying the service or the amount your company paid for it in the previous three months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit or delay costs.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its date, is always shown in the portal, and we will ask you to accept a changed version when you next sign in.
